Don't start an MSN conversation with the opener, or even the first few lines being, 'I'm bored'.
It gives me the complete and utter shits when people randomly open MSN conversations, explain that they are bored and expect you to magically entertain them. What do you want me to do? Whip out a wand and whisk you away to fantasy land?
Well I'm sorry but that is not happening. I'm a busy person with enough on my plate at the moment I shouldn't have to sit here babysitting you at 2am, if you're that bored go to sleep!
Some people astonish me with their lack of decency. I really do not appreciate having random conversations with random people, not when I'm busy doing something and most certainly not when they are the ones who are 'bored'. If anything they should be entertaining me! Is it not common courtesy to start conversation, to have something worthwhile to say before you call upo n another? Call me old fashioned if you will but I think this is important.
Now I'm not paying out people who have a genuine interest in having a conversation with me that's fine, talk away! If you have something interesting to say then all the better! Just so long as your plan extends a little beyod 'hey...I'm bored' because that will only earn you a slap on the face the next time I see you.
'So why is she complaining about this now?' you may wonder.
'It is because myself and some of my friends find this to be a common and irritating occurance on MSN' I will reply.
I love going on MSN to talk to my friends, have some random ask me the occassional random question and so on. Though I believe Facebook is a far better avenue for the randoms asking random questions, I mean that way you can ask, a million people can see and maybe reply for you AND there's none of that '....so...we've exhausted all conversation and I plan on staying online for another 6hrs but have nothing to talk to you about ' kind of awkwardness. I usually just stop replying or in desperate situations say 'brb' appear offline and never return.
I'm a bit socially awkward like that.
I think I'll leave it there for now, I had actually planned to discuss my V Festival experience but completely forgot about it till now, tis what lack of sleep does to one.
Tomorrow I will post something about Buffy.

good on you! I am very proud of your achievement.
Hmmm I don't know if it will have much to do with third wave feminism at the moment, though I could always whip up a little discussion on the topic if you REALLY desire.
